⚙️ Customizable Parameters
- cable_thickness (Cable Thickness): The diameter of the cable to be held
- Pro Tip: Enter approximately 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm more than the actual cable diameter here, so that the cable snaps in with a pleasant "snap"
- gluepad_thickness (Adhesive Base Thickness): With this, you define the thickness of the base plate on the model. A thicker base provides more stability for heavy cables
🖨️ Printing Notes
- Orientation: The model is optimized for printing upright (opening facing up)
- Support: Since the clip is printed upright, support structure (Support) is required. I recommend "Tree Support" (tree structures) as they are easy to remove and leave a good surface quality
- Material: PETG is ideal as it is flexible enough for the retaining arms. PLA is also possible, but should be handled more carefully
- Wall Lines: Use 3-4 wall lines to strengthen the structure of the retaining arms
🛠️ Assembly
Clean the adhesive surface thoroughly. Attach a suitable double-sided adhesive tape (e.g. 3M VHB or Tesa Powerstrips) to the underside of the printed base and press the clip firmly into the desired position
