⚙️ Customization Guide

Because this model is fully parametric, you have total control over the design! Adjust the following key parameters to make the coasters truly yours:

  • General Dimensions:
    • coaster_diameter: Set the perfect size for your cups or mugs.
    • base_thickness & pattern_thickness: Adjust the heft and sturdiness of the coaster layers.
    • rim_thickness: Tweak the outer border size to keep condensation trapped securely inside.
  • Pattern Details:
    • pattern_type: Choose between three fantastic optical illusions: Lines, Swirl, or Labyrinth.
    • line_width & gap_width: Modify the density of the pattern to subtly change the visual interference effect.
  • Mechanical Settings:
    • pin_on_base: Choose whether the central spinning pin is attached to the bottom coaster or the top spinner!
    • tolerance: Need a smoother spin? Adjust the slip-fit clearance to perfectly match your specific 3D printer's calibration.
    • pin_extension: Control exactly how far the central pin protrudes through the top layer.
