Description
The lid is designed so that a 3cm thick Styrofoam plate can be inserted
This allows the chamber to be brought to optimal temperature when printing ASA or ABS
You can leave the original glass plate on the printer. The lid is simply placed on top. Cut out the opener for the glass lid from the Styrofoam or unscrew it
I have connected an active exhaust system and constantly extract the exhaust air even during ASA printing. Thanks to this plate, a chamber temperature of 50 - 55 degrees is optimally maintained (with a bed temperature of 100 - 105 degrees)
It also protects your AMS from the rising temperature if you have placed it on the printer
I recommend gluing the parts to the Styrofoam plate
Don't forget to warm up the chamber BEFORE printing ASA / ABS
