  ⚠️ Double-Sided Printing: When printing the two-sided version, you might need to enable supports or change the orientation of the piece on the print bed (e.g., printing it vertically) to optimize the process and ensure high quality on both faces.
  
  ⚠️ Efficiency in Practice: While the double-sided option is available, the smartest — and significantly less annoying — strategy is to print two identical single-sided pieces and glue them together. This approach slashes print time and massively reduces wasted filament from both supports and purge cycles. Most importantly, it ensures both faces maintain peak quality, avoiding the inevitable imperfections and messy surfaces that come with vertical or overhanging prints.

   

  🏋️ How to Customize Your Gym Plate 

This quick guide explains how to use the customization options to create your exclusive keychain. In the side panel (Customizer), you will find the following sections:

1. Texts and Weights

• Top Text: The name or word that sits at the top (near the keychain loop).

• Bottom Text: The text that follows the bottom curvature.

• Left/Right Weight: The "weight" numbers displayed on the sides.

• Unit: Choose between "KG" or "LB".

• Weights Upright: If checked, numbers on both sides stay "standing up." If unchecked, they follow the circular design (meaning one of them will be upside down).

2. Style and Colors

• Double Sided: Enable this to have the name and details appear on both sides of the piece. Perfect for keychains that spin around.

• Font Name: Choose from dozens of letter styles.

• Text Mode:

  • Raised: The text pops out from the piece (ideal for painting or filament color swapping).

  • Engraved: The text is "carved" into the plate.

• Colors: Use these to visualize the design on your computer; the actual color will depend on the material you use for printing.

3. Plate Geometry

• Plate Shape: Choose between a classic round plate or a multi-sided one (Decagonal, Octagonal, etc.).

• Disk Diameter: The total size of the piece. The default (46mm) is great for keychains, but you can scale it up or down.

• Center Bushing: Adds that central ring in a different color, giving it a professional "Olympic plate" look.

💡 Tips for better results:

• Short Names: Very long words might be hard to read if the font size is too small.

• 3D Printing: If printing in two colors, use Raised mode. For a more discreet and minimalist look, use Engraved.

• Loop: The Add Loop option already creates the support for your keychain ring.

Just adjust the values, export your file, and you're good to go!
