Description

YOU - GOT - BEAN-D!!!

This little grenade/party popper I made is purely for the joy of running up to someone, pulling the pin, beaning them, and running away! Its a ton of fun, plus they get beans all over them.

This is 100% printed, meaning no other hardware or tools are required to operate the grenade, however, I found it quite helpful to superglue the circular disk/stopper to the spring. (see picture below)

This model uses my other creation as the ammunition:

I have found that using the normal sized beans tends to have a better result, just because that you can simply fit more into the grenade. Adding different sized beans also has quite a nice result!

Assembly and Instructions:

There is no assemble really required for the Bean Grenade, but there is some instructions on how to properly use the grenade.

1st:

Insert the spring into the circular grenade chamber

2nd:

Insert the round disk used as a stopper on top of the spring. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP!!  If the disk is not inserted properly, beans will fall to the bottom of the chamber and render the grenade useless.

3rd:

This is the hardest part of the process (but not too hard).

With one hand, push the spring and the stopper downwards, compressing the spring. With the other hand, slide the pull pin into the slot. This is what allows the grenade to fire.

4th:

This is where you load the actual beans into the grenade. Simply pile beans into the remaining space in the chamber.

5th

This is where the fun begins!  Quickly pull the pin so that all the beans (and the spring) go flying!

IMPORTANT!! DO NOT AIM AT ANYONE'S FACE OR EYES!!!!

Even though they are just small, 3-D printed beans, they can still cause damage and can hurt if they go into your eye! Please be careful!!

Boost Me (for free)

Thank you for looking at my model!! I really appreciate when people download my models (I check way too much...)! When I am boosted, I get closer to my goal to get a brand new printer as a 14 year old. It truly helps.

Have fun and happy printing!!
