Description

Customizable basketball bag tag for players, coaches, parents, or fans. I print a set of these for every player and coach on my son's team at the end of every season as a commemoration of the season…a functional, usable trophy. My son has told me that everyone absolutely loves them and how much fun it is to see players from prior teams wearing them proud on their bags season after season.

The words and numbers are easily customizable in Bambu Studio using the text editor. You can change the font, font size, and location to ensure a good fit. If you are printing for an entire team, you will definitely need to tweak the size and location of the player name, player number, and team name objects to account for different lengths of names, etc. I've done this for a number of seasons and am more than happy to provide input if needed. For attaching to bags, buy a bag of clear plastic luggage straps (see Bill of Materials for link to the ones I bought on Amazon).

Don't forget to make them for the coaches and team parents! They like them as much as the players, I promise you.

Happy printing! Don't hesitate to reach out with questions or requests for modifications.

Notes about the print profile and tips for printing:

  • Ironing is turned on at 30% flow. If you don't like to use ironing or want to save time, turn this off.
  • Change the font of the team name to match your team's theme if possible! Make it fun. Play with the fonts and font sizes to make it work for you.
  • If you print many at a time, make sure to clean the plate well and use adhesive/high bed temp/super tack…if any of them pull off, it ruins the entire print and causes lots of personal sadness. Believe me. Do some test prints before printing multiple.
  • You can reduce printing time by making the base/ball thinner, but I personally like the size/thickness of the current design and also think a thinner base might be more likely to break away from the strap/bag.
