🛠 Instructions – Regenerating Silica Gel in the Creality Dryer

 

1️⃣ Prepare the Box

  • Fill with silica gel (max 70–80% fill height)
  • Do not pack too densely → Air must be able to circulate
  • Close the box loosely (not airtight!)

 

2️⃣ Dryer Settings
 

Recommended settings:

 

  • Temperature: 70 °C
  • Duration: 8–16 hours
  • Optional: gently shake every 2–3 hours
     

The more saturated the silica gel, the longer the regeneration takes

 

3️⃣ Important Note on Air Circulation

For moisture to escape:

 

  • Do not operate the dryer completely airtight
  • If possible, allow for minimal ventilation
     

Without moisture removal, the regeneration time significantly increases
