Boxes for Knitting Needles

My wife was looking for a practical, pretty, and above all, clear solution to neatly store her knitting needles (double-pointed needles). Since we couldn't find anything suitable online, we quickly designed something ourselves — especially for those who no longer want their needles flying loosely in bags, tins, or project pouches

The result is handy boxes that can hold knitting needles with a maximum length of up to 150/200 mm and diameters between 1.5 and 10 mm. This provides stable, well-protected, and visually appealing storage for the most common needle sizes. The boxes are suitable for use at home or for taking along in a project bag or handbag

When printing, note that the height and width of the boxes vary depending on the needle size. This ensures each needle size gets its perfectly fitting box
You can directly customize the lid text in the slicer to your liking – for example, with your name or a short saying. This quickly transforms a simple box into your very own personal knitting accessory

This is Version 2 of the boxes, and the following points have been changed/improved

• Boxes have been optimized in length and now have less play in length
• There are now also boxes for 150 mm needles
• The stiffness of the lid has been eliminated

Please make sure you load the correct version. There are four files:

• For one set with 150mm length
• For 3 sets with 150mm length
• For one set with 200mm length
• For 3 sets with 200mm length

Note for A1 mini users:

You can print all 150mm boxes and 200mm boxes up to 7mm. To do this, you need to rotate the boxes and the lid by 45° degrees on the print bed
