Description
Welcome to the fully parametric and customizable version of my most popular cake topper!
Instead of searching for a specific number, you can now generate a custom topper for any age (from 1 to 99), perfectly tailored to your party.
This model is optimized for multi-color printing. It is logically divided into sections that look stunning in contrasting colors:
- Body/Silhouette
- Dress
- Shoes
- Crown
- Number
⚙️ Customization Options:
- Number & Text:
- Number (1-99): Choose the exact age for the birthday girl.
- Number Font: Select your preferred typeface (defaults to Passion One Bold, which is fantastic for 3D printing).
- Digit Spacing: Control the gap between digits. Lowering the value makes the numbers overlap, which makes printing easier and increases structural strength.
- Number Size & Outline: Adjust the size of the digits (as a % of the total topper height) and the thickness of their outline to blend perfectly with the silhouette.
- Positioning (X / Y / Rotation):
- Use the X and Y position sliders to precisely move the number across the dress (left/right and up/down).
- You can also tweak the Rotation to match the dynamic flow of the dress (defaults to -3 degrees).
- Dimensions (Size & Thickness):
- Topper Height: The total height of the model (including the stick).
- Stick Length & Width: Adjust the stick length for the cake's depth and the width for proper rigidity.
- Thickness: The total Z-axis thickness of the print.
🖨️ Printing & Slicer Instructions: For the model to print correctly, it must lay completely flat on the build plate. After importing the generated model into Bambu Studio:
- Select the model on the build plate.
- Choose the Lay on Face tool from the top toolbar (or press the F key).
- Click the flat (back) side of the topper to place it perfectly flush on the bed.
