Description

Meet PxlraC!

A slim modular mini-rack for your homelab (or living room).

PxlraC came to be out of necessity. I needed a slim 3D printable rack for my mini-PC's. PxlraC measures 268 mm wide and 250 mm deep. Rails are available from 2U to 6U and it can be extended, if you wanna go higher. Though, while it's quite robust, it's primarily designed to house a small stack of mini PC's, or other devices.

I also designed it to look more like an appliance instead of something belonging in an evil lair or closet.

For a complete PxlraC you'll need to print 4 rails, 4 side connectors and 4 front/back connectors. You will also need a few more bits and bobs to assemble the PxlraC:

  • 16x M6 8-12 mm screws
  • 16x M6 OD8 mm inserts
  • A number of M6 OD8 mm inserts for the rack rails, depending on  your chosen height and devices.

If you're in need of some blind or vented 1U panels, like the ones in the pictures, you can find them and a handful more here.

The HP Mini rack mount is here.
