Problem Discovery
I previously designed a minimalist filament clip. Unfortunately, although I could avoid the obstruction of theAMS limit block, I couldn't escape the shadow of the plastic mold's draft angle. The original filament spool hole diameters also vary with different materials and batches. Most disappointing is the probability of detachment caused by AMS 2Pro and AMS HT rotary drying, which poses a risk of filament jams in subsequent prints
Problem Consideration

Of course, the "less" in "less is more" does not refer to weight. However, this design coincidentally allows changing the weight by adjusting the model height. Vase mode = time-saving + material-saving + perfect appearance

This time, two different cross-sections were designed, functionally identical. The shape and color are similar to pomegranate seeds, so they are named Pomegranate Seeds

The simple rhombus shape can effectively reduce the contact area between the filament clip and the filament spool and allows warm air to pass through easily. Coupled with the lightweight and thin structure, it makes filament drying more even

Although very small and all angular, the hand feel is just right

The multi-faceted structure gives the thin 0.42mm shell stronger clamping force. A clear "click" sound can be heard with each installation, which is a reassuring feedback

Transparent filament can print a mirrored texture, making the simple shape exude a fashionable vibe. For storage, you can thread them onto a filament strand to make a "necklace" and hang them up, never worrying about losing them again

They can be installed upright or flat during drying. After all, being so thin and breathable, it will not affect heat transfer or air circulation at all
