Blink Mini Window Glare Mount – 20° Offset
Print Profile(2)

Description
Upgrade your window-mounted Blink Mini with a purpose-built glare shield engineered for clear, reflection-free footage.
Filming through glass usually means glare, haze, and bright interior reflections—especially at night. This precision-designed shroud features a 15mm surrounding lip and optimized internal geometry that allows a 20° horizontal viewing offset, dramatically reducing reflections while improving side visibility.
✔ See clearly outside at night — even with interior lights on
✔ 20° horizontal angle for better coverage
✔ 15mm anti-glare lip to block internal reflections
✔ Minimal material, compact design, no supports necessary for PLA!
✔ Print in black PLA or PETG (PETG recommended for intense sunlight or heat)
Note: IR night vision can still reflect off glass. For best results, disable IR and rely on exterior lighting when possible.
🛠 Installation Instructions
- Print in black PLA or PETG (0.2mm layer height recommended).
- Clean the window glass thoroughly.
- Insert the Blink Mini snugly into the shroud.
- Apply strong double-sided tape, VHB tape, or double-sided foam tape to secure the shroud.
- Press the 15mm lip flush against the glass.
- Tape can also be applied around the outer edges of the shroud for a tighter light seal and maximum glare reduction.
- Adjust alignment to take advantage of the 20° horizontal offset.
For best performance, ensure the lip sits evenly against the glass to prevent light leaks. Matte filament can improve the performance as well!
