Description
IDEA
I was looking for a system to place my SD and MicroSD cards on my 3D printed SKÅDIS, but unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that satisfied me.
So I created this configurator, thanks to which you will choose what to include and how many USB and SD slots to use. No more adapting to standard holders that have too many or too few slots! With this configurator for SKÅDIS, you decide the perfect setup for your workstation. I provide the technical base and some ready-to-use presets; you add the creativity.
🧩 Total Customization
Thanks to the modular system, you can create your holder by choosing exactly what to insert:
- USB Slot : For your installation or backup USB drives.
- SD Card Slot: Ideal for photographers and videographers.
- Micro SD Slot: To keep smaller, easily lost memory cards safe.
💡 How It Works?
First, open in your slicer or download the file named BASE:
Choose your base: choose from some ready-made bases or create your own from scratch.
The attachment system is already calibrated for the holes of the IKEA SKÅDIS board.
- Configure the Slots: switch from global to object view in the slicer and select the slot you want to use, copy it, and place it where you prefer.
- Now create 🧙: decide how many USB, SD, or Micro SD inputs to insert.
- Print: Get a unique piece, created by you for your needs.
