Description

This is a remix of the original iPhone 14 Pro case model published on MakerWorld:
https://makerworld.com/de/models/67764-iphone-14-pro-case

The base geometry of the frame originates from the original design, but the construction has been modified into a two-part modular system.

Remix Concept

The case now consists of:

  • Flexible outer frame (TPU / TPU for AMS compatible)
  • Interchangeable rigid back inlay (PLA, PETG, or similar materials)

The goal of this remix is to separate protection and design:

  • The TPU frame provides flexibility, grip, and impact absorption.
  • The PLA inlay allows full design freedom and clean multi-color prints.

This makes it possible to create individual back designs without reprinting the entire case.

Frame Adjustment (Important)

In the provided 3MF file, the frame has been scaled down by 0.25 mm to improve retention and create a tighter fit for the insert.

Depending on:

  • Printer calibration
  • Filament type (TPU hardness, PLA brand, shrinkage behavior)
  • Flow settings

you may need to slightly adjust this tolerance.

If the fit is:

  • Too tight → increase the frame size slightly
  • Too loose → reduce the frame size further

Tolerance requirements can vary significantly between printers and materials.

Advantages of This Remix

  • Modular two-part construction
  • TPU shock-absorbing frame
  • Fully customizable PLA insert
  • Cleaner AMS multi-color printing
  • Only reprint the inlay when changing designs
  • Suitable for personalized or branded back panels

Printing Recommendations

  • Frame: TPU or AMS-compatible TPU (tested with Bambu Lab TPU for AMS)
  • Inlay: PLA, PLA+, PETG, or other rigid materials
  • Print frame and insert separately
  • Test fit before final production print if using different filament types
