Description

Happy Pokemon Day 2026! I got inspired with the rerelease of Fire Red.

For this print, I did use a 0.2mm Stainless Steel nozzle. The model is 68.42mm by 100mm in size or slightly bigger then a trading card.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

This print uses 6 unique filaments

Swap Instructions:

Start with Charcoal Black - PLA PolyTerra Charcoal Black  Transmission Distance: 0.3  (Any black will probably be fine.)
At layer #11 (0.56mm) swap to Silver - PLA BambuLab Basic Silver  Transmission Distance: 1.2
At layer #18 (0.84mm) swap to Scarlet Red - PLA BambuLab Matte Scarlet Red  Transmission Distance: 2
At layer #25 (1.12mm) swap to Lemon Yellow - PLA BambuLab Matte Lemon Yellow  Transmission Distance: 3.5
At layer #39 (1.68mm) swap to Cold White - PLA Polylite Pro Cold White  Transmission Distance: 0.4
At layer #42 (1.8mm) swap to Arctic Teal for the rest - PLA PolyTerra Arctic Teal  Transmission Distance: 0.1

When loading more than 4 filaments I would load them as follows:

  1. Black
  2. Silver
  3. Red
  4. Yellow

Once the print starts, pull #4 Yellow. Once the printer gets to Yellow, you'll see an error message since slot #4 is empty. At this point, load #4 Yellow again, and change to the following.

  1. Black - change to White
  2. Silver - change to Teal
  3. Red - no change
  4. Yellow

Resume the print and you should be good to go. Any questions give me a shout.
