Description

Ice hockey stick grip for 20.1 x 29.9 mm shaft size with about 4 mm radius. This fits a classic wood stick “JOFA TITAN 4020”.

If you are looking for another design or direct fit for a composite stick e.g. “CCM Jetspeed FT860” check out this:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/2538749-ergo-hockey-stick-grip-e-g-ccm-jetspeed-ft860#profileId-2794844

The grip has a hole pattern design and “fuzzy skin” print profile to improve the grip.

In Bambu Studio you can scale x direction (29.9 mm standard) and y direction (20.1 mm standard) to adjust the grip to your shaft size.

E. g. your stick size is 31 mm, i.e. scale by 31 / 29.9 * 100 = 103.68 %

Check the result.

If necessary do the in a same manner for y direction.

As TPU does not shrink use exactly your shaft size or a little bit less (few tenth of a millimeter).

Before printing your TPU filament it is recommended to make a retraction test. This should be nearly perfect, otherwise it could be a waste of TPU filament. With Bambu Labs TPU 95A HF filament it needs only small adjustments. The filament profile is included.

Prepare the grip in hot water (50 °C). As glue you can use anything you are also using for your print plate. If your hockey stick has already some grip surface you can try without any glue. Can be reused by pulling it off with hot water or an air compressor.

Tipp for printing TPU: Use some standard glue (e. g. hairspray) for your print plate to get the print off with more ease.
