I created an ultra-thin 0.4 mm TPU print of a Porsche GT3 RS to use as a heat-applied design on a T-shirt. Because of the very small thickness, the piece was carefully removed from the print bed to avoid tearing or stretching.

For the transfer, the printed GT3 RS was placed on the shirt under a sheet of baking paper. Using an iron, the TPU was gradually heated to bond it with the fabric, ensuring strong and long-lasting adhesion. Extra care was taken to avoid lifting, warping, or damaging the design during the process.

It’s important to be cautious during washing: use gentle cycles, avoid high temperatures, and turn the shirt inside out to protect the TPU. Also, using a darker color for the print yields a much better visual result than the light grey I used, as darker tones contrast more effectively with fabric.
