Description

My family plays a lot of Rummoli and we use 5 cent coins/nickles.  A family member's hands are arthritic and he has difficulty counting out and dispensing his coins.  Rummoli requires a 9 coins anti every round so it is difficult for him.

I designed this dispenser so that he can easily play with us by dispensing one coins at a time in the pot by either using his thumb to press or two handed.

It has brought enjoyment back to the game for him and now everyone wants one as it is so darned convenient

Note: I am relatively new at Fusion and unfortunately can't spend more time changing this to any other size coins or purposes.  I have included my Fusion file and you are welcome to use it as inspiration.  I know I did lots wrong and inefficiently, but it is what it is and worked in the end for my purposes.

Assembly:

* I used Bambu machine oil for all moving parts that touch each other

  • Insert an M3 heat insert into each of the 3 handle holes and used M3x8 screws.
  • Put the slider on the dispenser base, then the spacer and attach the spring (the spring is a 5.5 x 25.5 extension spring from a 200pc kit on Amazon but the Bambu 0.5x5x20 mm should work)
  • Put the dispenser top on and screw in the 3 screws
  • Screw on the lid/hopper

I had to spend a few minutes moving the slider back and forth to smooth out the movement but once I did it moves perfectly and never seizes up.
