Description
Retaining wing for Brodit Samsung S10 Brackets used for vehicle mounting.
This wing replaces the original piece and extends to the top of the inserted S10 tablet in order to securely lock the tablet within the dock.
This makes use of the original screws while providing a much more secure fit than the standard dock provides.
NOTE: This is just for the bottom/left wing - the opposite side is not necessary as this locks it extremely securely as is.
This was printed in PLA using the Extra Draft setting as this was a prototype, however this works perfectly as is so I have not reprinted in higher quality.
Already a huge improvement in the method we used to use to secure tablets within the dock to stop them sliding out or being removed by customers - all without needing to fabricate metal shrouds to go around the top at some serious cost. This solution was ~37p in the slicer.
