Description

King Baldwin IV's Leper Mask from the movie “Kingdom of Heaven”

Baldwin IV (1161–1185), known as the Leper King, was the king of Jerusalem from 1174 until his death in 1185. Baldwin ascended to the throne when he was thirteen despite having leprosy. He launched several attempts to curb the increasing power of the Muslim ruler Saladin, though much of his life was marked by infighting amongst the kingdom's nobles. Throughout his reign, and especially at the end of his life, he was troubled by his succession, working to select a suitable heir and prevent a succession crisis. Choosing competent advisers, Baldwin ruled a thriving crusader state, protecting it from Saladin.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baldwin_IV_of_Jerusalem

Printed in PLA Basic Silver for the best look

Sized based off of current head measurements at 150mm width from inside of mask and used similar measurements found here:  https://makerworld.com/en/models/525268#profileId-682581

  • Initially modeled with Makerlab's image to 3D and brought into Blender for post processing and added details for the ornate design. Original mesh from Bambu lab lacked nose and mouth spacing as well as slots for nostrils and an opening for the mouth to breathe. Fixed and remodeled topology and added more floral designs on the nose, forehead, and cheeks.

*Added negative parts for straps to secure mask 3/5/26
