Spring is just around the corner, so I decided to bring some life back into my garden! I designed this eye-catching wind spinner to add a touch of movement and a splash of color to any outdoor space. It features a simple construction and is designed to be mounted on a thin rod or stick (I used a bamboo stake for mine).
To attach the tail vane, you'll need a small piece of 1.75mm filament. If the fit is too tight, you can use a knife to slightly widen the hole for a smoother assembly.
The hole for the stick is 12.6mm in diameter.

Update: After a month of testing, I must clarify that this is not a high-performance windmill. Due to the friction inherent in an all-plastic design, it only spins in strong gusts of wind. Please treat it primarily as a garden ornament - though I must say, it makes a very satisfying sound when it does get spinning 😂
If you are looking for something more, I invite you to check out my latest project: a windmill designed with ball bearings, which truly makes a difference.
💥I just added a project where you can also customize your windmill blades. 💥
