Description
I always wanted to learn CAD… Inspired by really cool birdhouses, I've delved a bit into CAD. A few things have already come out of it, and this birdhouse is now the first model I'd like to publish
The pictures still show the first version of the body (with a narrow edge at the bottom); I have revised this and slightly enlarged the lower part of the body
I created the perches in 2 versions; short and long. There are 2 modifiers attached to each. One increases the infill towards the thread to 75% and applies "Fuzzy Skin" further, the second upper one removes "Fuzzy Skin" for the thread, but retains the 75% infill
Furthermore, I have created an adapter that can be attached to posts, for example, using clamps or cable ties. The birdhouse can then be mounted on it. The nose of this holder is also set to 75% infill with a modifier
If needed, a tray can also be printed for better cleaning; this is also included
I print everything in PETG (Jayo High Speed PETG Matte) - for outdoor use, it should also be PETG, although PLA would probably also work, provided it is not directly exposed to the sun and/or weather
