Anti-RFID Bank Card Case – ultra-thin and printable without support

This two-part case protects your bank card against unwanted RFID / NFC readings when stored in your wallet.

The system consists of two 3D Printed parts that simply slide together. Once assembled, the case forms a secure compartment for the bank card while remaining very compact.

Anti-RFID protection is achieved by applying aluminum tape (5 cm wide) to the inside of the two parts of the case. The two metallic surfaces thus create a simple Faraday cage type shield, limiting contactless readings when the card is stored in the case.

The case has been designed to be fast and economical to print:

  • only 12 g of filament
  • no support needed
  • simple and reliable printing

The bank card slides in and out very easily thanks to the opening provided on the case.

Thanks to its compact format, it can be stored in any classic wallet.

Case dimensions

  • Width: 60 mm
  • Length: 85 mm
  • Thickness: 3.6 mm

Materials needed

  • Aluminum tape (width 5 cm)

Simply apply the aluminum tape to the inner surfaces of the two parts before assembly. Remove excess tape with a utility knife.
