Description

GMK Tec G3 Cooler

I recommend using a Thermalright TL-8015w fan. It is connected in addition to the CPU cooler connector. Remove the board completely and simply tap the cables using solder/weld connectors.

(GMKtec pins: red = +5V, black = GND, yellow = sense, blue = PWM) (Thermalright pins: 1 = 5V, 2 = GND, 3 = sense, 4 = PWM)

If pin 4 (PWM line) on the Thermalright is left disconnected (recommended), the fan runs at a constant low speed (since it's a 12V fan running on 5V). Combined with an Arctic M2 Pro SSD heatsink, the SSD now stays cool (40°C). The fan is completely inaudible.

Printed in PETG-HF, with PLA as the support interface layer. Can be changed to personal preference.

I accept no liability or warranty — this is purely a description of my own personal project.
