BambuLab Spool Silica Container – Clip-On Desiccant Holder

Keep your filament dry and ready to print with this clip-on silica container for original BambuLab spools. The container easily snaps onto the outer rim of the spool, placing the desiccant close to the filament where it can effectively absorb moisture.

Unlike many other designs that sit in the center of the spool, this container is mounted on the outside. This makes it perfect for storing your filament inside sealed bags, because the bag’s plastic does not block the silica container from interacting with the air around the filament.

For easy refilling, I also designed a small funnel that slides onto the container opening. This allows you to refill silica gel quickly and without spilling.

The container is designed to clip securely onto original BambuLab spools and can be printed without supports, making it quick and easy to produce.

Update 22.05.2026:

Added a variant (second print profile) of the clip-on silica container for Bambu Lab spools, featuring four feet so the spool can stand on the container. This reduces the risk of the spool rolling off your shelf. It even works when the spool is stored in a plastic bag.
