Description

A simple but very practical accessory designed to stabilize a glass cup during pour-over coffee brewing.

When pouring hot water into a coffee dripper placed on a thin glass cup, the setup can easily become unstable. This ring acts as a support collar that sits between the dripper and the glass, distributing the weight and preventing the dripper from slipping or tipping.

It improves safety and stability while brewing, especially when pouring boiling water.

Features

  • Stabilizes pour-over coffee drippers on glass cups
  • Prevents slipping or tilting during brewing
  • Distributes weight evenly around the glass rim
  • Heat-resistant when printed in PETG/ABS
  • Small, lightweight, and easy to clean
  • Quick print with minimal material

How it Works

The ring rests on top of the glass and provides a flat, wider support surface for the dripper.
This prevents the dripper from sitting directly on the thin glass rim and helps keep everything centered while pouring.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: PETG recommended (handles heat better)
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 20–30%
  • Supports: No
  • Orientation: print flat on the bed

PLA also works, but PETG is preferred for durability and heat resistance.

Compatibility

Designed for standard pour-over coffee setups with:

  • glass cups
  • V60-style drippers
  • paper filters

Works best with medium diameter coffee glasses.

Use Case

  1. Place the ring on top of your glass cup.
  2. Place the dripper on top of the ring.
  3. Insert filter and coffee grounds.
  4. Pour hot water safely.

Enjoy a more stable and controlled pour-over brewing experience.
