Description

I've recently started storing my filament in cereal containers in the hope of keeping out moisture. With this, I saw many hygrometer holders, but none of which incorporated space for a small desiccant bag, alongside a material selector so I can easily see which type of filament is within.

As a self confessed newbie to 3D printing, this was a trial by fire in Tinkercad, but I'm pleased to share my all-in-one hygrometer, desiccant holder and material selector.

I've tested this in both PETG and PLA using Bambu standard presets on my A1 mini and all is good. The dial slips over the main unit, and is fixed into place by a rear cap which screws on. There's a small rectangle to pop into the model to secure the desiccant bag.

Prints fine without supports.

Dial is designed to be printed correct side up with an AMS. The included text is:

  • PLA
  • PETG
  • ASA
  • ABS
  • PC
  • TPU
  • PA
  • PET
  • CF

Hope others find this useful! Feel free to improve upon and remix the design.
