Another cable clip!?
Yes! because this one is better :-D
To organize my cables, I also had a 3D-printed cable clip until now. However, I was never really satisfied with it. It was too complicated to use and quite bulky.
Recently I designed a minimalist bag clip EcoSnap - Ultralight Bag Clip – Free 3D Print Model – MakerWorld
Then the idea came to me that I could also use this in a modified form for my cables.
No sooner said than done!
I have created the clip in 3 versions:
- Flat Cables (For cables up to approx 1.5mm thick)
- Thin Cables (For cables from approx 2.5 to 4mm diameter)
- Thick Cables (For cables from approx 4 to 7mm diameter)
The clips only use 2 to 2.4 grams of filament and each have a print time of only 4 minutes!
They have no elaborate mechanism, but are simply bent open.
Don't worry, they can be opened wide enough without breaking!
Flat Cables: As the name suggests, for flat cables

Thin Cables: Ideal for USB cables and charging cables of all kinds
The cable in the picture is 3mm thick and 2m long

Thick Cables: Ideal for power cables, HDMI cables, etc
The cable in the picture is 7mm thick and 2m long

The clips open wide enough to insert the cable.

If you like the model, I'd be happy about a like, a download, a boost, and of course photos of your prints!
Happy printing!
