Bill of Materials
Description
This Forklist Truck is that latest addition to a series of rugged, toddler and child friendly toys designed for hands-on play, creativity, and quality time together.
The Forklift Truck is easy to print and easy to assemble:
- Prints with minimal supports**
- No AMS needed
- Simple snap together parts (some glue required)
- Assembles in minutes
This model has free spinning wheels and a lifting and tilting lifting mast.
I have designed the model around printing in PETG however it can just as easily be printed in PLA. Snap joints are a little tighter to press together with PLA.
The toys I'm designing in this collection are designed with chunky proportions, giving them plenty of strength to stand up to the rigors of toddler play, while still being engaging for older kids. These aren't show ponies either, they've been made to be handled, pushed and crashed.
You can print them colourful, or print them in a single colour and paint them yourself. This painting option is a great way to engage and bond with kids as you create something together!
**ensure when removing supports you make sure the model has fully cooled down to room temperature before trying to remove. Allowing the part to fully cool will always lead to an easier and cleaner removal.
Boost Me (for free)
If you like the models in this series consider giving it a boost. These boosts cost you nothing but show me some appreciation and keep me motivated to continue adding to the collection.
