Gothic Gate of Sculls Ruin - Tabletop - Grimdark

Give your gaming table a grim, venerable atmosphere! This highly detailed gothic skull gate was specially designed for tabletop use (28mm - 32mm scale). With its intricate tracery windows and skull-strewn ground, it is the perfect terrain piece for any grimdark scenario or fantasy battlefield

Features:

Print Settings:

• Printer: Optimized for FDM, but also suitable for resin printers
• Material: PLA (Grey is best as a base for later painting)
• Layer Height: 0.16 mm or 0.2 mm for a good balance between print time and detail level
• Support: Depending on printer orientation, minimal supports are recommended for the window arches ("Tree Supports" work excellently here)
• Infill: 10–15% (Gyroid for maximum stability)
• Walls: 3 for robust edges during gameplay

I printed with a 0.2mm layer height and a 0.4 nozzle, so it can be even more precise ;-)

Painting Tip:

For the look in the photo: Prime the model black, generously drybrush it with a dark grey, and finish with a very light grey or off-white on the edges and skulls (Drybrushing)
