Description
This protective cover is designed for the side opening of the Heidelberg / AMPERFIED Energy Control Plus wallbox.
The wallbox has a relatively large opening on the side so the internal type label can be read. While this is useful, it also allows dust, insects, spiders or debris to enter the cavity behind the housing.
To prevent this, I designed a simple cover plate that closes the opening and helps keep the inside area cleaner.
The cover can be easily 3D printed and attached with double-sided adhesive tape. It blends nicely with the wallbox housing and does not require any modification to the charger.

Printing
Recommended settings:
- Material: PETG, ASA or ABS (recommended for outdoor use)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 15–20 % (not critical)
- Supports: not required
Installation
- Clean the surface around the opening.
- Apply double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the printed part.
- Align the cover and press it firmly into place.
