Description
This 90° warm air deflector for Truma heaters allows for targeted redirection of the airflow from the warm air outlets in motorhomes, caravans, and campervans.
The deflector is simply placed onto the original Truma air outlet and redirects the warm air by 90°. This allows for better distribution of the airflow, for example, if the heater's air would otherwise blow directly against furniture, walls, or curtains.
Ideal for better heat distribution in the camper, especially in confined areas like seating groups, beds, or cabinets.
The model fits the original Truma warm air outlets and can be removed at any time.
Variants
Variant 1 – Closed
- No openings
- The entire airflow is redirected by 90°
- Perfect when the air should be directed entirely in another direction
Variant 2 – With Holes
- Additional openings on the front
- A portion of the air is redirected by 90°
- The remaining airflow continues to exit forwards
- Ensures a more even air distribution
Material Recommendation
Warm air heaters can reach relatively high temperatures. Therefore, heat-resistant materials should be used.
- PETG
- HT-PLA / High Temp PLA (e.g. PolyMaker)
- ABS / ASA
Regular PLA is not recommended, as it can deform at higher temperatures.
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer height: 0.16 mm
- Walls / perimeter: 3
- Infill: Gyroid 15 %
- Brim: enabled
- Print orientation: vertical
- Top surface pattern: concentric
- Support: normally not required
These settings ensure stable walls, good surface quality, and sufficient temperature resistance.
