PS5 Stick Raiser

Description
Why?
I designed this stick raiser for the PlayStation 5 controller because I needed one myself, but most of the models I found were too aggressive on the analog stick surface.
Many designs rely on pressure, sharp internal features, or tight friction fits that can damage or permanently deform the rubber coating of the joystick.
To avoid this problem, I designed a different mounting system that does not stress the rubber of the analog stick.
The model consists of a small cage made of two symmetrical halves that close around the joystick. These parts gently hold the stick in place without digging into or damaging the rubber surface. Once the two halves are positioned, the top stick extension is screwed on from above. When tightened, it locks the two cage halves together and keeps the entire assembly firmly in place.
This design allows the stick raiser to remain stable during use while minimizing stress on the original joystick material. It is also easy to assemble and remove if needed.
The goal of this model was to create a functional and reliable stick extension while preserving the integrity of the controller’s analog stick.
Assembly Instructions
1 - Place the two halves of the cage around the controller’s analog stick matching the corresponding line.

2 - Hold the two halves firmly together with one hand so they stay properly aligned. With the other hand, screw the top stick extension onto the cage.

As you tighten the stick extension, it will lock the two halves in place and secure the entire assembly onto the analog stick.
