D8 Gamepad Thick Phone Adapter

Description
This adapter was designed for the D8 Gamepad to support thicker phones. My iPhone 17 Pro Max did not fit properly in the original holder because of the camera bump and the added thickness when using a case. To solve this, I designed a modified adapter that provides more clearance.
The adapter allows the gamepad to comfortably hold thicker smartphones, including devices with large camera bumps and protective cases. The extra space also makes it possible to fit larger and thicker devices, and in some cases even small tablets, depending on their thickness.
The design keeps the phone stable while gaming and ensures the camera bump area—like the thicker section on the iPhone 17 Pro Max—can sit properly without forcing the device into the holder.
It can be printed in PLA, PETG, or TPU. TPU can also work if you prefer a slightly flexible adapter, but I personally printed mine in PLA and it works perfectly.
If you have a phone that is too thick for the original D8 gamepad mount, this adapter should provide a better fit. Feel free to modify or remix the design if you want to adjust it further for your own device.
