1. Online Custom Level Generator Tool

This web tool can randomly generate custom Kanoodle levels and also solve them automatically:

• How to play:

1. Select 'Random Game' and customize the number of fixed pieces to place (3-12 pieces)

2. The tool will generate a brand new 2D board level layout

3. You can drag the pieces to try and solve the puzzle, or click 'Hint' or 'Solve' for help

• Features: Equivalent to an infinite number of custom levels created by players, with fully controllable difficulty
2. Player-shared Custom Level Methods (Creating your own puzzles)

Many players use this method to create new levels; I've summarized the steps for you:

1. Basic Custom Creation Method:

◦ First, empty all pieces from the board

◦ Randomly place 3-5 pieces as fixed starting points

◦ Try to fill the board with the remaining pieces; if successful, it's a new level

◦ The more fixed pieces, the lower the difficulty; the fewer fixed pieces, the higher the difficulty

2. Advanced Custom Creation Method:

◦ Mimic the layout patterns of official levels, designing symmetrical/offset fixed pieces

◦ Deliberately create 'trap' layouts that appear solvable but actually require repeated adjustments

◦ Share your designed levels on social media and invite other players to challenge them
3. Examples of Player-Created Custom Levels (Text Version)

I've designed two custom levels that you can try immediately; you can arrange them as follows:

Custom Level 1 (Beginner)

• Fixed piece positions (5×11 board, row numbers 1-5, column numbers 1-11):

◦ Row 1: Column 2 (Green), Column 4 (Red), Column 7 (Pink)

◦ Row 3: Column 1 (Yellow), Column 10 (Blue)

• Challenge: Fill the entire board with the remaining pieces

Custom Level 2 (Advanced)

• Fixed piece positions:

◦ Row 2: Column 3 (Red), Column 6 (Pink), Column 9 (Green)

◦ Row 4: Column 5 (White), Column 8 (Purple)

• Challenge: A more compact layout requiring more spatial reasoning

Tips

• The core of custom levels is controlling the number of fixed pieces: 3 fixed pieces is the hardest, 10 fixed pieces is the easiest

• You can take photos of your designed levels and save them, gradually building your own 'unofficial level library'

• 3D custom levels are more challenging; you can try fixing a few pieces to a pyramid base and building upwards from there
