Bourbon Bottle Rating Tags

This project helps organize a home bar and track your personal bourbon ratings.

Each bottle can receive a rating tag from 1 star to 5 stars. Slide the tag over the bottle neck and instantly see how that bottle ranks in your collection.

The design prints fast, reliably, and with very little filament.

All tags are designed to print face down on the build plate, which improves print quality, reduces print time, and eliminates the need for supports.

Printing Concept

The model is designed so the printer lays down the stars first, then prints the tag body.

This allows an easy color swap even without AMS.

Make sure the plate filament sequence places the tag body color last.

With AMS

Load two filaments and print normally.

Without AMS

Pause the print after the stars finish and swap filament for the tag body.

Recommended Settings

• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• No supports required
• Material: PLA or possibly PETG
• Works well on a textured PEI plate

Best tested settings are already saved in the file. Avoid changing them to ensure a reliable print.

How To Use (Quick Start)

1. Measure your bottle neck diameter, then round the number down.
2. Choose the plate with the matching diameter.
3. Select the tags with the desired rating (1 to 5 stars) and deselect the rest.
4. Start the print.
5. Slide the tag over the bottle with a satisfying click.

Now your bar instantly shows which bottles are favorites.

For New Users

Each plate already contains tags with different star ratings.

Simply:

• Choose the print profile
• Select the plate with the correct bottle diameter
• Print the tags with the star ratings you want

No additional setup is required.

For Advanced Users

You can also create a custom plate and place any tag sizes you want.

If using AMS, make sure the filament order is correct:

1. Star color prints first
2. Tag body prints second

This ensures the two color design prints correctly.
