Turn pixel art into a portable game!🧩✨

This project enhances the MakerLab Pixel Puzzle Maker tool (4mm-block, 16x16pcs / 8x8cm) with a custom-made storage solution. It is the perfect travel companion for children or a unique and affordable gift. 🎁✈️

The Story Behind the Project 📖

This project was born from two specific requests from my wife:

• A travel game: Something to keep in a bag for downtime (like at a restaurant), offering a healthy alternative to smartphones and YouTube.📱❌
• Party Favors: High-quality gadgets at a low cost (about 1-2 euros each) for the guests at my son Lorenzo's (8th) birthday party in a few weeks.🎉👦

The result of these 2 requests is this Pocket Pixel Puzzle Box. 

With only 1kg of PLA (about 12-15 euros) and a few days of printing, I created 12 complete gadgets for 12 happy children. 

It is the perfect balance of creativity, utility, and simplicity.💡🛠️

Customization and Compatibility🎨
In addition to my designs, you can create your own! Use the MakerLab tool, select "4mm-block" and "16x16pcs (8x8cm)": my box and stand will be perfectly compatible.

🖨️ Printing Recommendation:
Ensure perfect bed adhesion, especially for the pixel plates. 

Since they are very small and printed without a brim, they can easily detach. Make sure the plate is perfectly clean; I strongly suggest using glue.

⚙️ Technical Note:
These puzzles are intended to be assembled only once. The pixels are fragile and removing them from the plate could break them. I have included extra pixels in each print profile to account for any breakages.

If you print the multiple editions, here is how many pixels to put in each box. Format is Base pixels (+ Extra pieces included in the profile):

• Creeper: 90 Black (+3), 112 Green (+14), 54 Azure (+4)

• Smile: 54 Black (+4), 102 Yellow (+6), 100 Azure (+4)

📖 How to get the Assembly Guide:

Getting the reference image to complete your puzzle is very easy:

• PDF Guide: Download the attached PDF file. It contains the color maps for all 8 puzzles. Simply print it and cut out the 8x8cm square you need to place inside the box.📄✂️
• Digital Version: Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of the specific assembly plate image (or code) from the print profile you are using.📸📱
• NEW MYSTERY MODE : Download the "NoSpoiler_Guide.pdf". Print it and cut the page into 8 rectangles. Slip each card into its corresponding box. It’s a great logic game for kids and makes the kit look professional! 📄✂️
