The Star That Fell into the Desert —That year, the engine of my biplane failed. It was supposed to take me further, but it left me in the endless desert — and it was in that sea of sand that I met the Little Prince.
Sands of the Sahara clung to the wings, and pencil shavings from when I drew my first sheep remained in the cockpit. But it was precisely because it crashed here that I heard the story of B-612, of the rose, and of the fox.
