Bring a touch of digital nature and retro-gaming style to your desk. This Voxel-style Bonsai isn't just a geometric design sculpture, but a practical, engineered organizer to neatly store your memory devices: SD Cards, microSDs, and USB flash drives.

The model is optimized to be printed completely support-free. The tree is split in half and prints comfortably lying flat on the build plate, ensuring perfect outer surfaces and zero wasted material.

This project includes a high-quality Monochromatic Profile, designed for a fast and clean printing experience.

  • Print Time: ~8-9 hours per plate.
  • Waste: Zero.
  • Supports: None required.
  • Recommended Filament: Matte Black, Stone Gray, or White PLA for a premium minimalist look.

🛠️ Assembly & Tolerances (The 3-Pin System)

To join the two halves flawlessly, I've designed hidden alignment holes. Since every printer handles tolerances differently, you will find a dedicated print plate with three sizes of cylindrical pins (7.8mm, 8.0mm, and 8.2mm). To make it 100% foolproof, the exact diameter size is engraved on the top face of every pin.

  • 7.8mm (Loose Fit - Recommended!): Slides in easily. Use it with a few drops of CA glue (Superglue) for a permanent, clean bond.
  • 8.0mm (Standard Fit): The nominal size. Depending on your filament's shrinkage, it may be a snug fit.
  • 8.2mm (Tight Fit): Designed for a friction fit without glue. Requires a well-calibrated printer.

⚙️ Print Recommendations

  • Resolution: 0.20 mm is ideal for the "blocky" voxel effect.
  • Infill: 10-15% Zig Zag for speed and stability.
  • Adhesion: If your plate is prone to warping, use a Brim to ensure the two halves remain perfectly flat for a seamless join.
