Description
A fully parametric self-watering planter designed for herbs, houseplants, and small indoor greenery.
This model is not just a container — it’s a customizable growing system. All key dimensions and functional elements can be adjusted to fit different plant types, wick sizes, and use cases.
The integrated wick irrigation system draws water from the bottom reservoir directly into the soil, ensuring consistent hydration without overwatering.
🔧 PARAMETRIC CONTROL
You can easily customize:
Length, width, and height of the container
Wall and bottom thickness
Corner radius and taper angle
Hex pattern size (lid design)
Drainage tray height
Wick width and thickness
This allows you to adapt the model for:
Small herbs (basil, mint, thyme)
Decorative indoor plants
Functional grow setups
💧 HOW IT WORKS
A flat wick is inserted through the bottom opening of the main container and extends into the water reservoir below.
Water is transported upward via capillary action, keeping the soil evenly moist while preventing root rot.

Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 15% Gyroid
Walls: 2–3 perimeters
