Description
Impeller Pumpe für Akkuschrauber
Print the housing and the driveshaft/axele out of PETG (i used Translucent PETG for better looks)
Print the Gasket and the Impeller out of TPU (please use my print profile for the best function)
Assembly
For the Assembly you require:
- 6x M3x40 Socket Head Cap Machine Screws
- 1x M3x25 Socket Head Cap Machine Screw
- 7x M3 Hex Nuts
- Garden Hose Ø13mm (½'')
- O-Ring 10x2,5mm (You can use my Printed version out of TPU but a bought one works better)
- (superglue)

Explanation How the Impeller Pump Works
This design operates as a positive displacement pump. The core component is a flexible impeller rotating inside an eccentrically shaped housing. As the impeller spins, its flexible blades follow the offset contour of the casing, creating a pumping action through volume change.
On the intake side, the housing widens, allowing the blades to unfold and expand. This increase in volume creates a vacuum that actively draws the fluid into the chambers. As the blades rotate toward the discharge side, the housing narrows, forcing the blades to bend and compress. This reduction in volume squeezes the medium out through the outlet at a steady pressure. Because the blades create a tight seal against the housing, this pump is self-priming and capable of handling both air and viscous fluids effectively.
I tried various diffrent types of impellers to find the one that works the best.
