Apple Watch Band Case

I created this case specifically for travel. When I travel, I often like to bring a second watch band, but loose bands tend to slide around in luggage, pockets, or other non-specific cases. This case keeps the band secure and protected while in transit.

This design was made for smartwatch bands and tested with both sizes of Apple Watch bands, but it can also be customized for many similar band types by entering your own dimensions.

Adjustable parameters:

• Band length
  Measure the full length of your band. For rigid bands (like metal or clasp-style), use their total laid-flat length.
• Band width
  For Apple Watch bands, a good starting point it:
  • ~36 mm for 42–49 mm Apple Watch bands
  • ~33.5 mm for 38–41 mm Apple Watch bands
• Band height
  Measure the thickness of the band, or the total thickness if you want to store more than one band in a single case.

The result is a custom-fit storage case made from two simple parts: a base and a sliding lid. It’s a great solution for storing spare bands at home, keeping them organized in a drawer, or packing them safely for travel.

Bonus Feature:

The top piece of the case has the Apple Watch logo etched in.  Select the top body, and rotate it so you can see the top that is resting against the plate, then select Paint.  When you move your mouse over the body it should hi-lite the logo and letters, you can now easily paint them, but make sure to enable Edge Detection.
