🛠️ Assembly & Installation

• The Beerbuddy is assembled from several components:

   

• Feet (printed separately)

  → Simply push on – ensures a stable stand

  → For assembly, gently position and press evenly on a flat surface until the feet snap into place

  → Improper pressing can damage the snap-in mechanism

  → Optionally without or with the possibility to integrate magnets (6x2mm)

  → With magnets, ideal for attachment to metallic surfaces (e.g., refrigerator)

  → Magnets must be glued

   

• Cap (printed separately)

  → Is placed on top and completes the design

  → Can be removed at any time

  → Can be used as a practical bottle cap after opening 🍺 (EU bottles)

• Bottle opener insert (not included)

  → Standard metal insert (e.g., from Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/01TxKM2v) or AliExpress) is inserted

  → Lacquered variants (black, bronze) should now also fit (diameter and height adjusted)

  → Should also be secured with some adhesive to prevent slipping

   

• Fixation ring

  → Is inserted during printing at a pause

  → Serves for optimal layer adhesion

  → Should also be secured with some adhesive to prevent slipping

   

• Fixation disc

  → Is inserted during printing

  → Supports the adhesion of subsequent print layers

   

⚙️ Note on Manufacturing

• → During the printing process, a ring and a disc are printed along

   

• → The printer automatically pauses at defined points for removal

   

• → The ring and disc are then positioned on the bottle opener insert or optionally on the NFC tag

   

• → They serve as an adhesive layer for the following layers and ensure stability

   

• → When using a bottle opener, it is recommended to additionally secure the ring to the insert with adhesive so that it does not slip when opening. Likewise, everything should be secured with a drop of adhesive before further printing to prevent twisting

   

• → No additional gluing is required when using an NFC tag

   

• → The printing process pauses at the respective points to precisely integrate the insert, NFC tag, magnets, and components
