I designed this model from scratch in Blender, focusing on capturing the powerful, wide-mouthed strike pose that makes the Bass a legendary game fish.
🛠️ Key Features
- No Glue Required: The fish attaches to the base using a precision-engineered interlocking dowel. It snaps in securely, making assembly a breeze.
- Dual Base Options: This download includes two separate print profiles: one with a sleek Circular Base and one with a classic Square Base.
- Customizable Text: The "BASS FISHING" text is fully editable on your PC via Bambu Studio. You can easily swap it for a name, date, or tournament title.
- Fully Scalable: Need a subtle desk ornament or a massive wall-mounted trophy? The tolerances are designed to hold up even when scaling the project up or down.
- High Detail: Optimized for Silk PLA to give it that premium "Golden Trophy" glow.
🖨️ Recommended Print Settings
To achieve the best finish (as seen in the photos), I recommend the following:
- Wall Generator: Arachne (Crucial for capturing the fine details of the scales and fins).
- Layer Height: 0.2mm Adaptive (Essential for smoothing out the Bass's curves while saving time on flatter areas).
- Filament: * Fish: Gold or Silver Silk PLA for that premium metallic look.
- Base: Black PLA (Matte or Textured PEI looks fantastic here).
- Supports: Tree Supports are highly recommended for the jaw and fins to ensure a clean surface finish.
- Infill: 10-15% Gyroid is plenty for strength.
