Description

Hey everyone!

When I got my phone I needed a case for it, I bought one online and when it arrived it didn't fit! The phone model was right, "redmi note 14 4g" and yet it didn't fit! I printed a case for it from another model here on makeworld, it also said “redmi note 14 4g” yet-- it didn't fit either!

Finally I goggled about it and turns out there's different sizes for redmi note global and regional =_= A tiny size difference that is different from the 5g model too--

So I took it upon myself to make my own case and now I share it here to others with the same problem!

This case features the main features I needed in a case!

  • It has a deep back to protect the raised cameras part on the back

If you place it down on a surface, the case touches the surface, not the cameras!

  • It has a raised front frame that protects the screen!

It's almost 2mm of protection above the screen! This means that, if you drop your phone and it falls face down, the case hits the surface, not the screen! It won't work against raised rocks or other uneven surfaces but hey, pretty damn close to perfect!

  • The side buttons are carefully placed as part of the case!

This means you get the nice feedback of the click but without making them so sensitive you might take screenshots in your pocket (yes, that was an issue in one of my prototypes …)

  • All the important parts have their holes there!

Charger, speakers, microphones, censor and the phone jack are all open and accessible, as they should be!

  • You can add a pop socket!

So, pop sockets don't stick well to flexible materials it seems, so I made a rectangle shaped indentation inside, to print a solid (preferably petg but I guess PLA will work fine too) rectangle that you can then glue your pop socket to.

I don't think I need to add this but.. if you skip the hard printed part and glue the pop socket to your phone.. you won't be able to remove case unless your socket is entirely smaller than the hole. the hole is 35mm

  • Holds on firlmyl to the phone! Just like a commercial case or better! It's snug but easy to put on and remove!

I left octagram spiral on for the first layer. If you don't like it, please change it here:
