Bill of Materials
Description
I was tired of differenct bottle opener models because they did not hold up. So i made my own, if you use it right it will hold for alot of abuse and its still
small, lightweight.
This design focuses on strength and reliability in a minimal form factor, making it perfect for keys, backpacks, or outdoor gear.
Despite its compact size, the opener features reinforced geometry so it can handle repeated use without flexing or breaking — provided it is printed with the recommended settings and materials.
Ideal for:
• Everyday carry (EDC)
• Camping & outdoor trips
• Gifts or quick functional prints
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings (Print Profile)
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Walls / Perimeters: 4–5 wall loops (important for strength)
- Infill: 75 %
- Top / Bottom layers: 4–5 recommended
🧪 Recommended Materials
- PETG
⭐ Preferred (great balance of strength & printability):
- PETG-CF
🏆 Best performance (recommended for heavy use):
- PA (Nylon)
- PA-CF / PA-GF
🛠️ Printing Notes
- Strength comes mainly from wall count and infill, so avoid reducing these.
- Print orientation is optimized for strength — avoid rotating unless you understand load direction.
- Dry filament is strongly recommended, especially for PETG-CF and PA.
- Increase nozzle temperature slightly for fiber-filled materials to improve layer bonding.
