Unlike most static models, this design features a functional internal rope core, allowing it to flex and move naturally for a more realistic look and feel.

Designed to be printed without AMS, making it accessible for any standard 3D printer setup.

 Assembly

• Uses ~48 inches of 1/4" nylon rope threaded through the center
• Tight tolerances allow for a secure press-fit assembly
• Glue is recommended for long-term durability
• Built-in space at:
  • the butt of the hilt
  • and the tip of the whip
    → to tuck excess rope after knotting

 Print Details

• No AMS required – parts are separated by color
  • Black components on one plate
  • Red components on one plate
• Minimal supports required (only 2 pieces)
• Total filament: ~411g
  • Black: 178g
  • Red: 232.7g
  • Supports: ~1.6g
• Print time: ~10h 30m on Bambu X1C
• Printed across 2 plates

This is my first project designed in Autodesk Fusion, and I wanted to push myself to create something both detailed and functional.
