Scheppach PL55 Vacuum Clamp Plate
Print Profile(1)

Description
A vacuum clamping plate allows me to secure the guide rail of my Scheppach PL55 plunge saw during cutting. I use this vacuum clamping plate in conjunction with my nut holder for the PL55 and my 18V Einhell vacuum pump. 8mm holes need to be drilled in the guide rail at the required positions.
I inserted a 4mm EPDM foam rubber cord into the groove of the vacuum clamping plate.
The vacuum connection is achieved using a PGJ10-8 pneumatic reducer. An 8mm hose can be inserted into it. The reducer itself has a 10mm diameter and is simply pressed into the side hole. If there's any leakage, simply seal it with some glue or hot glue.
In my case, however, everything was sealed tightly and was easier to implement than printed imperial threads with pneumatic screw connections.
Holes are provided on the side and top for inserting M3 Ruthex heat-set inserts.
Additionally, there are 2 holes on the top for M6 Ruthex heat-set inserts.
The protruding side flange features 2 holes for M8 and 3 holes for M6 screws. These holes are used to attach the vacuum clamping plate to the guide rail.
