For my Scheppach PL55 plunge saw, I designed parallel guides

An M8 C-profile (17x11) is used as a guide

For example, here from Profilzuschnitt24

The C-profile is firmly screwed into Part 1 with two M8 screws and M8 hex nuts. A 10mm wide measuring tape can be glued to the side of the C-profile

Part 2 can be fixed as desired on the C-rail with an M8 hex screw, the handle model, and an M8 hex nut

An aluminum strip measuring 50x3 can be attached to Part 2 with M3 screws and M3 heat-set inserts (not yet visible in the pictures)

The aluminum strip then serves as the actual stop; if chosen long enough, narrow strips of a wooden board can be cut with it

I attach the stops to the guide rail with my Scheppach nut holders

In both parts, 2 holes are provided for Ruhtex M6 heat-set inserts. The idea here is to use M6 screws as height stops so that the stops do not wobble
