Finger Chopsticks - Modular Design
Print Profile(3)

Description
A functional finger chopsticks design that lets you enjoy snacks while using your mouse, keyboard, controller, or phone – no more greasy hands during gaming or work.
The model features a modular design, allowing you to easily adapt it to your needs. Individual parts can be replaced when needed – for example, the V-spring can be swapped out over time without reprinting the entire model.
Unlike fully printed alternatives, this design is based on real chopsticks cut to size, making it a more food-safe solution. All printed parts stay away from direct contact with food, while still providing a comfortable and precise grip.
Print Profile Overview
This project includes three main print profiles:
- Handle – the finger-mounted part that holds the chopsticks.
This element is customizable, allowing you to adjust both the chopstick diameter and finger ring size for a perfect fit. - V-Spring – a universal component responsible for tension and return.
The solid version provides a reliable and consistent feel for everyday use. - Chopstick Cutting Guide – a simple tool to help you cut chopsticks to the correct length.
Includes reference slots for quick and repeatable sizing.
Required Materials
To assemble the model, you will need:
- 2x Handle (printed)
- 1x V-Spring (printed)
- 2x wooden chopsticks
I personally use inexpensive bamboo chopsticks (e.g. from Amazon), but thanks to the customizable handle, you can use virtually any type – just cut them to the desired length using the included guide.
Printing Notes
The handle part is customizable, but keep in mind that customization applies to a single element.
After adjusting the dimensions, you need to print:
- 2x handles
- with one mirrored version
The model is designed to be printed vertically for optimal strength.
Printing in a different orientation may reduce durability and require additional supports.
All parts are optimized for standard settings and should be printed using:
- 0.2 mm layer height (Bambu default profile)

Assembly Guide
1. Measure & Position
Place the chopstick inside the cutting guide.
Make sure the end of the chopstick is fully touching the closed side of the guide – this ensures accurate length before cutting.

2. Cut to Length
Cut the chopstick using a fine-tooth saw (e.g. a standard wood blade).
⚠️ Use basic safety precautions while cutting.
Avoid using blades with large teeth, as they may damage or split the chopstick.

3. Assemble the Parts
Insert the cut chopsticks into the handles – they should press-fit with a click.
Then attach both handles to the V-spring.
The first assembly may feel tight – this is normal and ensures a secure fit.
